Flanges
Description
Gayatri Precision excels in flange pipe fitting
Flanges are a type of mechanical fitting used to join pipes or tubes together. They are frequently used in plumbing systems and chemical plants. A flange may be expanded, sleeved, or welded onto the pipe or tube.
A flange is usually flat or circular-shaped, but it can also be made in other shapes such as square and rectangular. Flanges are also used to connect hoses to valves and other devices such as manifolds and pressure gauges.
Flanges come in many different sizes, configurations and materials depending on their intended use. Most commonly they are made from cast iron, stainless steel or brass, however there are many other materials available such as aluminium alloy (aluminium bronze) and copper alloys such as Monel and Inconel.
